This colony location was directly north of the Delevan hunting blind 4 in the bulrush/tules. Access to the site is from Four Mile Rd (Excelsior Rd) 3.5 miles north of Maxwell Rd. On the east side of Four Mile Rd there is a metal gate with metal "4" sign. The hunting blind and colony was about 500 feet east of the gate. The colony was also visible by walking north along the dirt road to the east of Four Mile Rd and the adjacent ditch. The hunting blind is relatively new and shows up in aerial images after 2009. A nearby address on the west side of the road was 4583 West Delevan.

Nearby colonies in database are Northeast Maxwell (about 0.5 miles west) and Delevan Road at Four Mile Road (about 0.4 miles SE).
