Lat. = N 37.11.139 Long = W 120.22.237 the colony was located 1/2 mile east of Bliss Rd. on Sandy Mush Rd. in Merced County

Ths colony was about 1/4 mile from the road. tharefore, we could not determine the substrate or the depth of the colony.

I counted 1,000 (+-) birds per minute four times. At first, there was a continous stream of birds flying from north to south to a feed lot. Then the birds began to return to the colony site. After that, there was a constant stream of birds going in both directions.

Best guess is that there was about a 50/50 ratio of females to males.
