The entire aggregate complex (Lopez-Ag Services x 2; Triangle Rock Products 1 & 2) are surrounded by high chain-link fence, berms, open-pit mines, large piles of aggregate, etc. Accessibility is limited to weekdays and permission to approach the area was not sought. There was a large amount of bull thistle in several areas inside the fence. There were approximately 400 blackbirds on lines, with several 10s of blackbirds seen to be Tricolors walking on the piles of aggregate. No nesting or real foraging activity was observed. The area was observed via 80x power scope from all 4 sides, but distance was too great to allow accurate counts.
