The margins of this pond where Tricolors have nested for several years have been razed. The cattails have been removed, the willows have been removed and recently bulldozed into piles. The margins are bare mud and unsuitable for tricolors. I searched nearby areas but could find no tricolors. A singleton male was seen on 17 April by Cheryl Watson and Geoff Heineckenat a pond on private property several miles to the south.
