This colony was located at -122.1067393, 39.2764686 (NAD83). Same basin as Delevan T42.2 observed on same date, but this location is in the SE corner of the basin whereas Delevan T42.2 birds were observed in the SW corner of the basin.
Birds were observed carrying stuff, but was not clear if it was food or nest material; likely food. More females were observed than males (2:1 F:M). The substrate where the birds were perched and dropping down was bulrush/tule. The basin was moist and had puddles, but was not completely flooded.
Birds were frequently flying back and forth from this location to the east over Stone Corral Creek to where this colony has been located in the past.
Could not gain access to Delvan Blind 24.
