This colony was located at -122.1146118, 39.3269922 (NAD83). Nearby colonies were Northeast Maxwell and Delevan Road at Four Mile Road. Birds were initially observed when a huge flock flushed up and then settled down. Once we walked out to the site, the birds were not visible for a while. Later, after walking north along the ditch that parallels Four Mile Rd we observed foraging lines of birds heading from the tules north of the hunting blind heading over to the west side of Four Mile Rd and back. Only small groups of females, 3-4, (very few males) flying back and forth with some carrying food. More females were visible than males, 3:1 F:M. Brian Acord and Krysta Rogers.
