Observed well after the end of the April survey but given that 70+ fledglings were observed being fed by 75+% males, the site had to have been active during the survey, and likely 3,000 adults bred here in 2011. The site was viewed from the immediate vicinity of the Himalayan blackberry substrate, at a distance of < 10 m. Viewing the site from Sandy Mush Road could easily result in a conclusion of non-occupancy if the birds were incubating.
