Some males singing initially off to the east end of the colony. Mainly saw females continually come out of one main patch of tules on the west end and go across road to forage in drying up wetland. Hard to get exact count with all the birds on mudflats among dead, emergent vegetation. After 45 min. the birds didn't all return to colony. Males only singing periodically. These birds don't seem to be mixing with Colony #1 about 500 meters east.
