This site was found to be a new tricolored nesting site by Joe Morlan while doing his Solano County Breeding Bird Atlas block during the 2005 tricolored blackbird survey. The year that Joe found the birds nesting the tule growth was luxuriant. It has been since burned and is slowly growing back. Site suitable in 2014 but no birds seen.
